3.6 Finally Here

Two quick notes:

1. We launched ToneThis 3.6. This is basically several months of bug fixes, optimizations, improvements etc. We have significantly increased the device and country support and we have also improved our web to phone features. You can now select any content on the web and send it to your phone!

2. We've added more free content! We partnered with Musicshake so their music will be available for ringtone creation. We also just partnered with Hooters, there wallpapers are coming soon.

ToneThis 3.5

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates - we've been cranking along, alebit a bit quiet on the blog.

Few things to announce:

1. We launched ToneThis 3.5 - this took about 6 months but it includes numerous bug fixes and improvements. Additionally, it includes the ToneThis Firefox Extension (optional, of course). With the extension, you can send any content from the web to your phone. As part of this, we also partnered with Ask.com and have integrated with their search engine. Now, when you do a search in the ToneThis web extension, the Ask.com search results will have links so you can send the web result, image result or video search result to your phone - check it out.

BTW, Firefox 3.0 support and IE support is coming soon.

2. We recently sponsored the San Fran Music Tech conference - it was a great show in SF where several music enthusiasts met and discussed the future of music and ringtones!

3. We are finalizing our ToneThis 4.0 features - if there is something you would like to see, definitely let us know. Please send an email to support at tonethis dot com.

ToneThis Updates

Hey Everyone,

So these past couples months, we've been busy fixing some bugs and adding more free content to ToneThis. We've added free mobile games for Pro users and fixed a number of Vista related issues - I think we have most of them nailed!

Going forward, we have a long list of possible features we're looking at - let me know what you would like to see in ToneThis next by posting to the ToneThis Forum. We're are looking at adding support for Office files, Podcasts and Flash content - let me know if you think that's interesting or if we should instead be spending more time on enhancing the editing tools...

So I recently ordered another batch of t-shirts to give away at a conference I attended last week. The t-shirts are really cool, a little bit of a play on the iTunes billboards. ToneThis Product Updates

Hey Folks,

So we've had the 3.0 Beta out for almost 6 months now - we've been fixing bugs and improving the product on all fronts. I want to update you w/ the latest:

1. We are weeks away from releasing ToneThis 3.0 Final - this has been the effort of the whole community for the past year - I'm really looking forward to it!
2. As part of releasing 3.0 Final, we will officially launch ToneThis Pro Edition - many folks have emailed me asking, how can they buy Pro Edition - well, the issue is you can't buy it yet since we haven't yet made it available :) A few more weeks...
3. We have added public domain content from both Revver and Flickr - check it out, this is just the first phase, soon you will be able to publish your creations back to these loved services.
4. We have added premium games and I know many have asked how they can get the games for free - stay tuned...
5. We have officially delivered 5M pieces of content through ToneThis and it's partners - Woot!
6. We have expanded to 20 more countries, we are nearly in 100 countries - more on it's way.
7. We re-launched ToneThis into retail - it's called My ToneThis Ringtone and Media Mixxer Studio - check it out at CompUSA.

And lastly, thanks for the support - please keep the bug reports and feature requests coming. I want to make sure ToneThis is the best product for sending your mobile content to your phone.
